Module 12: Portfolio, Certification, and Final Review
Goal
Package the work into a clear proof-of-skill portfolio and complete one meaningful certification path if it supports the learning goals.
Portfolio Requirements
Every major project should include:
- README.
- Problem statement.
- Architecture diagram.
- Data flow.
- Security model.
- Technology choices.
- Trade-offs.
- Evaluation results.
- Cost estimate.
- Deployment instructions.
- Screenshots or demo notes.
- ADRs.
Certification Strategy
- Prefer official learning paths first.
- Choose one primary cloud certification target if useful.
- Choose one AI specialization only if it reinforces actual project work.
- Verify current exam names, retirement dates, objectives, and prerequisites on official provider pages.
- Do not pursue every certification at once.
Study Tasks
- Audit every project README.
- Add missing architecture diagrams.
- Add missing evaluation reports.
- Add missing ADRs.
- Create a final skill matrix.
- Choose at most one primary certification target.
- Complete practice questions and weak-area review.
- Create a final roadmap retrospective.
Tips
- A smaller polished portfolio beats many unfinished repositories.
- Make every README understandable in five minutes.
- Show trade-offs, failures, and improvements, not only happy paths.
- Use consistent project structure across repositories.
Completion Checklist
- At least three major projects are complete and documented.
- One project demonstrates production-style cloud architecture.
- One project demonstrates RAG.
- One project demonstrates agents and tool safety.
- One project demonstrates evaluation and product thinking.
- Skill matrix is updated with evidence.
